Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, after appearing in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year the year 2009. After 2012 she had been being featured in sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms and similar shows. When she was awarded an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she became a regular on various panel show where she is becoming a mainstay. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's an extremely popular contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, she has one sister named Sinead. She was only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea, her maiden name, is a tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a veterinarian for horses that committed suicide at three-years-old. However, she did not learn the cause of death until thirteen years later. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey with suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer and an ex-professional jockey. Their family was obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that the racing industry was not for her.
