Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director most well-known as the main character of Birdman. An actor with a variety of talents, he's adept at playing comedic and dramatic characters. His professional career has seen him portray a couple of love-interest characters as well as appearing in a few action-packed films. When he was a teenager He began to be interested in acting and performing. When he was an adult, he experimented with stand-up comics. Even though his stand-up act wasn't a success, it did in the development of his acting. He was unable to achieve the success he had as a comedian, so the next step was to become a cameraman at the cable channel. While working at the station, it was when he realized he actually wanted to be on camera. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got a television part. His natural talent as an actor made him popular in the world of television. After having a successful movie career, his comedic appearances brought him plenty of recognition. His fame was further elevated by the acclaim he received for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up acting as an actor and started working in productions and directed films. The 2013 Birdman film earned him multiple nominations and awards.
