Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra's work has led her to participate in several notable international and national projects. They comprise British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she was a member of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
