Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various TV dramas before she turned 16. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra is known for her participation in a variety of noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
